OUR Programs
Building Climate Resilience Through Women’s Leadership
Climate change affects everyone but not equally. Women in rural Uganda face the harshest impacts, yet are often excluded from solutions. At ARUWE, we place women and girls at the center of climate justice equipping them to lead in farming, energy, advocacy, and community resilience.
Our Impact in Numbers
Across Uganda, women are transforming their communities through agriculture, entrepreneurship, and leadership. At ARUWE, we strengthen their journey by supporting women-led cooperatives, training young mothers in business, and ensuring grandmothers and households living with HIV have access to food, resources, and land rights. This is more than economic aid it’s long-term empowerment, rooted in dignity and driven by women themselves.
